The Cloves Farm Shepherd’s Hut

I liked everything the views, the accommodation, the hosts were very friendly and helpful and provided everything you would need. A real home from home.

The lights inside were very bright. It would have been lovely to have a softer lamp or two for extra romance!!

Such a warm welcome when we showed up. So warm and cosy in the hut with everything you'll need - even OJ, milk and a couple of alcoholic drinks! You can tell Corrine always goes above and beyond for guests. The farm dogs welcomed our dog like an old friend and he loved it. We'd live there permanently! Thank you so much for an incredible stay. Highlights were watching the starlings, the sunrise over Dartmoor, the incredible walks, and Corrine being the best host. The bathroom in the shepherd's hut was incredible. I wish we'd stayed longer!

Location ,quiet and the shower.

Absolutely beautiful shepherds hut, had everything we could want. The host even left us an alcoholic drink each, fresh milk and orange juice and other little extras. They were amazing catering for our little dog, and the farm dogs were so lovely with her.

We can’t fault anything

Corrine was a lovely host. Made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. We didn’t see her during our stay but knew she was there if there were any issues. We had everything we needed and more in the hut. It was cosy and warm and spacious. The view was amazing and we went for a nice walk from the property into the village. It was only a short drive to car parks to access the national park itself.

Whilst the weather was terrible, the hut more than made up for our experience in Dartmoor. Great location, great view and great host. Will definitely be coming back!

It was exceptionally windy with yellow warnings. There is quite a bit of wind noise underneath the hut but nothing to major.
