"It was ok, but to be honest, I think if we’d stayed in the Cairn Hotel, this would be a different revue."

The Cairn Hotel looked great, but we were out in the Carlton Hotel opposite

I assume the Carlton Hotel hasn’t been in their possession for very long, as it was very tired, no lift for the upper floors, no facilities at all

"Home from Home"

Stayed here loads visiting my daughter, the hotel is in a perfect location, lots of shops and cafes close by. Even though the hotel is a little dated, I love it, feels like a home from home!

"Great for 1 or 2 nights"

Location was great for meet up with my daughter. Room was adequate and bed comfortable. Easy access to centre and Metro.

The fridge needed cleaning and in general carpets and bathroom would have benefited from a deep clean.

"Overall pretty good, except the mattress and pillows weren’t that comfortable, rather lumpy!?"

The location, very handy for Nero caffé, and small supermarkets.

Being in your sister hotel across the street The Carlton. The mattress and pillows were rather lumpy. Noisy guests shouting at 4 in the morning (not your fault, just inconsiderate drunken youth)
