Swimming pool was out of order, was not informed about this issue. I would not have booked this flat if I knew.

The apartment offers very good value for the price. What I especially appreciated is how functional the space is, every square meter is used in a very smart and thoughtful way. Whoever designed the interior did an excellent job when planning it. The location is also great, very close to the beautiful lungomare promenade, which made walks really enjoyable. I didn’t have a car, so parking was not an issue for me, despite what some other reviews mention. A lovely touch was the small welcome treat left by the host - a traditional Madeiran honey cake called bolo de mel, such a kind and thoughtful gesture.

The biggest issue during my stay (in February) was the extremely high humidity. I have traveled quite a lot and honestly never experienced such intense humidity inside a property anywhere else in the world. I understand that the island climate is naturally humid, but there should be proper systems in place to manage and reduce indoor moisture levels. Unfortunately, nothing helped, not opening the windows, nor using the ventilation system. It made sleeping very difficult, and I constantly felt damp and uncomfortable, even experiencing restless sleep because of it. This suggests that the building lack proper insulation or moisture control solutions. Another issue was related to the balcony - something seemed to be loose or broken, and due to strong winds at night, a metal part kept hitting loudly. It woke me up and was quite frightening at first, as I couldn’t immediately understand what the noise was. I hope this has been repaired by now.

Gros problème de sécurité : le voyageur suivant est venu frapper à notre logement à 4h du matin, alors que nous étions encore présents jusqu’à l’heure de départ prévue (11h). Il disposait déjà des codes du logement et de la boîte à clés, ce qui est totalement inacceptable. Par ailleurs, plusieurs équipements sont défectueux ou manquants : la plaque de cuisson ne fonctionne pas correctement, il n’y a pas de grande passoire pour égoutter les pâtes, aucune éponge ni produit pour faire la vaisselle, ni même de produits de base pour se laver. L’aménagement du logement laisse également à désirer : il n’y a pas d’espace adapté pour manger confortablement, notamment au niveau des jambes, ce qui rend les repas peu agréables. Enfin, le parking est très petit et constamment plein, ce qui rend le stationnement particulièrement compliqué.

Good sea view, nice with Parking outside the building and close to supermarket, a mall, and restaurants. The apartment is small but enough with some basic kitchen equipment and a washing machine. Nice balcony to sit and enjoy the weather. It was easy to find the place and check in was very smooth with clear instructions.

Limited parking space, if you arrive in the evening parking will be full. Woke up early morning several days from people honking loudly at the parking lot because people block other cars when there are no spots. Kitchen is very small and has limited appliances. Soap for the bathroom was not available, no extra trash bags for the kitchen, so some basic things that should be there are missing

Appartamento moderno ed accogliente. Cucina piccola ma con il necessario per trascorrere qualche giorno. Ambienti luminosi. Letto abbastanza comodo con lenzuola incluse. Bagno leggermente piccolo ma comunque comodo.

Scarico della doccia lento e tendenza ad accumulo di acqua. Parcheggio praticamente assente, quello che viene descritto come disponibile è piccolo e quasi sempre tutto completo.

Lokalita je úžasná. Hodně obchodů a restaurací.

Pokoj je trochu vlhký, ale lze vyřešit častým větráním.
