Heating knocked all night and was a little noisy. Not fault of cottage but difficult to eat out on a Monday as many establishments were closed. Parking after business hours easier on the suggested street Roman Way, before this very busy

LOVED the working open fire - and the general charm of the house. What a beautiful place to stay. It was very clean and well kept! The kitchen was well equipped even with a coffee machine with some complimentary pods! Delicious! And not to mention the little chocolates! The decor in the main bedroom with the wardrobe corner was super cute! Although we left our baby with grandma this time, it was good to see that the property would be able to cater to having a baby easily. Loves the little table nook too, what a great way to utilise that space as we sat round there to eat! Although it was raining and stormy we had a peak outside, and the back yard feels like it would be a great place to chill on a summer evening too. The host set up some cute Christmas decor that was a lovely festive touch!

There were four of us staying and the sofa only sat 3 people at a squash so one of us had to float between the floor and the wooden chairs. - a bigger sofa or an armchair wouldn't go a miss. I like how open it feels currently but ultimately we picked a cozy cottage so an extra comfy seat would have just made it that bit cosier. Potentially a smaller lamp or 2 in the front room would be nice to create a cosier more relaxed atmosphere on an evening rather than the bigger wall lights on. Although the sheets and duvets were really high quality and clean, I wish the mattress was just as comfy/ as good of quality. Perhaps a softer pillow choice as the plump firm pillows were my only option. Decor in the second bedroom seems a bit of an after thought in comparison to the rest of the house. Would be good to see the interior design twist in there too! Although there was parking close by, for ease it might be worth looking into if you can get a guest/ resident permit for out front. All being said. This didn't distract from how great the host was, and the experience was as a whole. We will 10000% come back and anyone who mentions they will be going to Bicester village, or even fancies a quaint night away, it'll be top of my suggestions list. Thank you to the hosts - I hope this feedback comes as constructive, as if this was my place, I'd like to know how to make it that little bit better. I really am nit picking here at very small suggestions, that even if they werent to be considered, it's still an amazing place to stay. It's excellent value for money!
