On the Cliff

Our stay at On the Cliffs in Fira, Santorini was nothing short of extraordinary. After an unexpected airline mishap left us arriving hours earlier than planned—tired, stressed, and hoping for a bit of luck—we were welcomed with exceptional care and kindness. A heartfelt thank-you to Simone, who truly set the tone for an unforgettable experience. She arranged an early check-in with effortless warmth and professionalism, instantly easing our travel frustrations. To our surprise and delight, she also upgraded us to a stunning room with breathtaking views—and the highlight of it all, an amazing jacuzzi tub that became our sanctuary throughout the stay. Watching the Santorini skyline from the comfort of that jacuzzi was an absolute dream. The hotel itself is magnificent: perched right on the cliffs, beautifully designed, spotless, and serene. Every detail made us feel like we were living in a postcard. Thanks to Simone and the entire team at On the Cliffs, what began as a stressful travel day transformed into a magical escape. We will be cherishing this experience for years to come. A stay we highly, wholeheartedly recommend.

We loved the layout of our suite - there was plenty of room for my parents, my aunt, and me with 2 bathrooms, 2 beds, and several futons. The sunset view from the patio space was amazing!! We had an indoor hot tub, and while it wasn’t super hot, it was cozy and unique. The porters met us at the street and took our luggage all the way up and down the stairs and Simona was kind enough to gift us a bottle of wine! She was very helpful and quick to respond. As long as everyone in your group is okay with stairs, this is a great property!!

I didn’t mind the stairs, but my aunt has limited mobility and I should have checked the accessibility before booking. I recommend another property if your group has any members with limited mobility.

El desayuno excelente y con vista espectacular. La primera impresión al entrar a la habitación es sorprendente, realmente muy bonita.

La habitación era como una cueva alargada y no tenía ningún tipo de ventilación. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien y hacía mucho ruido. No pudimos dormir bien ninguna noche por lo pesado del aire y el calor.

La colazione abbondante e completa servita in terrazza con vista stupenda sulla caldera. Lo staff molto cordiale e disponibile sempre. gli ambienti sempre puliti e confortevoli, la nostra stanza era molto ampia e completa di ogni confort. La piccola piscina affacciata sul mare riservata alla nostra stanza è stato un vero lusso.

Da italiani ci è mancato l'espresso ed il cappuccino che non erano compresi nella colazione, ma si tratta proprio di un dettaglio che non ha guastato la nostra vacanza
