"Very nice room, fair price. Annoying smoke detector lights."

Room was great. Very quiet, very dark. Only oddity is the flashing smoke detector which is very bright and almost like a low speed strobe, all night.

The pool room is EXTREMELY loud, the waterfall feature is a nice thought but not in what amounts to a cave. It was also unbearably hot in that room. Front desk guy was not friendly. He essentially did what he needed to do, clearly slightly annoyed the whole time.

Had nothing to do with the hotel. I was told that the hotel was exceptional. The problem was with Booking.com I spoke to a person there about a mistake in Booking, my error, and was told " THATS IN THE PAST SO NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!" But the issue is that was not correct because it was in the PRESENT and the hotel personal said it was OK with them to make the necessary adjustments to save the Booking but it could only be handled by BOOKING.COM Booking .Com personal said basically not something they could or would assist with so that's the end of it and as I had no recourse I went ahead and paid for another Booking directly with the hotel. Booking.com is now off my list though I doubt that anyone really cares.
