The Old Shop

So clean, carpet was brand new. Bathrooms were modern and clean. Hot shower, comfortable bed.

There were issues with the electricity, constantly on and off again.

Location

Impossible to contact owner and key holder. We had a power cut forcing us to decamp to a hotel. To be fair the proprietor did apologise and refund our hotel cost.

The location is great and the room is big.

The radiators left are not enough to warm the room. It was cold at night. The check in time is a bit late.

The location of the hotel was lovely. The catch was the busy pub 2 doors down. The noise caused the children to wake a few times but thats not a fault of the hotel.

Nothing not to like

I liked the charm about staying in the colourful houses on the harbour . It was nice looking out to the harbour in the morning and evening and just a few minutes walk up the steps to the main centre. Fantastic location.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was as advertised. There were no real services apart from a jug and some tea / coffee and no kitchenette but we knew that when selecting the property .

Everything was just perfect. I would only recommend to add some heating instructions in the room :) Clean and comfortable, fully recommend.
