The Old Shop

I liked the location of the B&B! I liked the colorful buildings neighboring the B&B. The towels were very large and nice. The host was readily available when I called. The information book offered helpful advice on ideas for dining.

I wish there had been a mini fridge and more surfaces to put toiletries in the bathroom. I also think that the way to lock the door to the room could have been explained before arrival. I could not figure out how to lock the door until I called for help. The additional lifting of the handle sounds like one is breaking the door. Lastly, the mattress for the double bed was not very comfortable. I could feel the springs every time I moved. It was also a bit small for 2 adults.

Well laid out, clean and comfy, good decor, spacious for two friends travelling together. Lovely location on harbour edge but also touristy.

Being an iconic location there were a lot of tourists photographing the house etc. however the one way window film meant they could not see in and it was a lovely view from the windows. A coffee table by the settee would have been very useful and more sockets for kettle etc.

It had fantastic views of the harbour and right next to some great restraunts!

The main door handle was quite tight. Took a bit of time to figure out the issue.

There was no breakfast.

Toilet was leaking
