The Old Shop

The location was nice on the waterfront but there was a constant crowd of people walking by directly in front of the door and taking pictures of the pink house. I was able to park on Quay Street for free.

There is a spot in the bathroom that has mold? The toilet appears to be leaking. There is a rug at the front door that needs replacing, it’s a trip hazard.

Finding the actual room was difficult as there is no sign indicating Old Shop

Location was great

Room smelled terrible — like chemicals.

We got driving directions directly to Apple Maps when we got to Skye. That was wonderful.

We got an email about “how to check in” only 5 minutes before we arrived, since we were driving through Portree, we didn’t see it until later that evening. The receptionist at the Rosedale didn’t answer the phone # on the door, but did call me back. Thank you. But the phone calls did cost me. The entry directions emailed the day before, or a WhatsApp phone number on the door would have been better.

The bathroom door knob was broken and my dad got stuck in the bathroom for a time.

Lovely location, simple accommodations.

A mini fridge would have been the perfect addition to the facility.
