The walk around the place and feeding to alpacas and sheep's. Kids loved that. Host was welcoming and provided breakfast items

Stove was at a height. Also they could use non stick pans for ease of cooking

Great location with great facilities. My teenage boys particularly loved the pool table. The breakfast supplies provided were delicious! Perfect place to stay the night either before or after a trip to Hobbiton. Lovely neighbours too! It would have been lovely to stay longer!

There’s nothing bad to say about this place! If you were staying more than one night with teenagers, having the one big room could be awkward, but that’s really dependent on the family rather than the accommodation.

Located in a small town, very quiet and safe. We loved the billard pool and the animals in the back as it kept my niece entertained. The host is such a lovely person. We got pavola, little cupcakes and bread, even a carton of juice. All we needed was there when we arrived on Christmas day.

It was a fantastic facility with a very welcoming host. Everything was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed feeding the alpacas and playing pool.

Nothing to dislike

Thank you Maria for your kindness when my family came to stay. The accommodation was immaculate, there was plenty of room for everyone. Feeding the animals was a huge bonus for my grandchildren, we even had to feed them just before we were leaving. I highly recommend staying at The Red Shed.

Kids loved feeding alpacas. The location was great, close to the Hobbiton Movie set.

The accommodation didn't have separate rooms, it's just a huge one big space. Feels dark inside even with blinds open, maybe due to the colour of the interiors. The floors were dirty, even the host came inside in her outside shoes. Bring your slippers, don't walk barefoot nor in socks. The fruit bowl was with old wrinkle fruits, better don't put any if they were in that condition.

Exactly what we needed after a long trip , place felt warm and welcoming , Maria was amazing very hospitable and tended to our needs of checking in earlier than planned. Close to everything and more than enough space for a family , breaky and kids games were a hit and the farm life is everything these ipad kids needed .
