It was with a very heavy heart that we left this wonderful place. Massimo is a truly amazing person and host. He has a kind word for everyone, is always cheerful, and can prepare an incredible breakfast. 🙂 If you have the chance to book this place, don't hesitate - both Lake Como and Massimo's hospitality offer a once-in- a-lifetime experience.

Massimo was amazing and I will forever remember this stay and will definitely be back if I’m able to! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience with an amazing view and an even better host!! I would 10/10 recommend and shout it from the rooftops that you should stay here if you’re able to!!

What we enjoyed the most were: great friendly host who made our stay feel like home; perfect localisation of the apartment, easily accessible by car or train, close to important points of view, not crowdy and loud at all; beautiful lake views from the balcony; delicious breakfasts, much more that you would expect.

Owner is like your family member, place is really nice, clean and beautiful, it's not to far to any place if you have a car this place is perfect, even if you don't have a car there is a train station. This place is really quiet and really good place to rest. I will take the same place next time.

Our experience at Casa del Musica was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the stunning views of Lake Como right from the apartment—each morning, we were treated to a postcard-worthy scene that made the stay even more magical. The apartment itself is a true gem. The interior is spacious, stylish, and beautifully decorated, blending modern amenities with classic Italian charm. We especially loved the open-plan living area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the well-equipped kitchen which made cooking at home a breeze. The private balcony overlooking the lake was the perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The location is ideal—quiet, yet within walking distance of the charming town, local cafes, and excellent restaurants. We had easy access to ferry services, which allowed us to explore the beautiful towns surrounding Lake Como. Our host was incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful local tips, making our stay even more enjoyable. We truly felt at home in this peaceful, picturesque setting. We can't recommend Casa del Musica enough! If you’re looking for a serene and luxurious stay with stunning views of Lake Como, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

It was exceptional, highly recommend. Massimo the owner was very hospitable🙌. The breakfast was huge and varied. We had a car so it was about 15 minutes to get to Varenna. Despite it was not yet the season, almost all the villas were closed except Villa Monastero, it was very nice weekend. The bonus of low season is less crowded 😉

Our stay at Massimo’s place was an absolute pleasure! The apartment we rented was perfectly connected – getting to the main attractions and important spots in the city was easy and quick. An additional bonus was the beautiful view from the windows, which made our mornings and evenings even more enjoyable. Massimo is an exceptionally hospitable and friendly host. He prepared delicious breakfasts every day, paying attention to every detail to make sure we felt comfortable in his home. This created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with unforgettable hospitality. We will definitely be back!

We want to really really thank Massimo the owner for the wonderful experience that we had in his home. We have no words to describe how much we love our stay here. You can tell how passionate he is and how much he truly cares about his guests! We can't stop raving about our stay here and we really just want to go back already. We were so sad that we have to leave because Massimo really took great care of us. The room is very clean! Amazing location! Amazing view! and the breakfast OH MY GOODNESS THE BEST!! We are always full every morning and he even gave us breakfast for to-go on the day we had to leave very early for our flight back home. We wish we can go back again. We are so glad we chose to stay here and if you are coming to lake como this is the place to stay!
