High End Luxury 2 Bed Apartment Birmingham

It was in a nice location and was very comfy

The toilet was not cleaned nor the house properly, there was hair all over the bath room prior to us using it

The place had only been partially cleaned. There were only 2 clean towels for 3 people: the other 2 were in the dirty basket; when I contacted the host he said to use them as they were clean but they were still wet & smelled. The beds looked like they had been slept in. Contacted the host but he couldn’t do anything about it as he has been let down by the cleaning team. If it wasn’t so late & we weren’t so tired we’d look to stay elsewhere.

The place was clean and quiet environment.

Nothing wrong w the property

The flat was clean. The owner sent us a video of how to get into the flat (it would have been tricky to find without this video). The beds were comfy and showers were hot. Good quality duvets and pillows too. Good you could control the central heating. There was WiFi but I didn't use it as I have data on my phone. They left us fruit and a box of chocolates which was sweet. Also plenty of tea and coffee and decent sized mugs. Nice quiet residential area. Easy to park. It felt safe. All important things covered.

Bring sleep masks if you're a light sleeper, there aren't blackout curtains. I wasn't able to get there until past 8 pm on a Friday night because of work. Had to collect the keys from a shop which was 6 minutes drive from the accommodation. I think this was because we requested a late check in. If you were reliant on public transport this could be very difficult. Largely the flat was renovated well. There were a few things that needed attention, some windows were hard to close, the drawer front fell off the cutlery drawer (I put it back on). The flush button fell off the loo (again I put it back on). For the money for a 2 bedroom flat it was amazing. Saved loads compared to a B&B or hotel.

Spacious and clean rooms, 2 bathrooms, many amenities provided and there is free parking right outside. I also asked for a little birthday set up and it was provided at an extra charge. It was really nicely done and there was good communication with the host. Very cosy sofas too, lovely place!

The pillow was too thick for me, but I’m sure if I was staying longer at the property and asked the host if there were thinner ones, this would have been accommodated.
