Perfect stop over on route to Cornwall, pub right next door so friendly & food amazing.

The location was what we wanted visiting family

On arrival the room smelled very damp. It was also a little smaller than expected

The staff at the adjacent pub could not have been more helpful and friendly as it was up to them to check us in and subsequently deal with the issues we found at the property

Place was very dirty. Self catering with one coffee mug that did not even fit under the coffee machine, and one glass! Couple of side plates so scratched they should have been binned. Bags of dog poo left outside front door. Owners should be ashamed to charge £140 a night for what we were met with.

Lovely features especially the bathroom

There was only one mug even though the booking was for a couple, easily solved but it’s an attention to detail thing, also couldn’t get the heater working

Lovely little escape, clean and tidy. Room smelt a little damp but after a while it seemed to subside. Tv would not work.

Nothing not to like. Perfectly adequate and clean.

Comfortable bed.

1.Need a degree to get the coffee machine to function. 2.Need a degree to get hot water from the shower. 3. May need a chiropractor to sort your neck out from having watched TV - from the bed's viewpoint.

The apartment was lovely but don't think much of the host.

All the electrics blown during the night and we asked for a small refund as this was not our fault we got no sleep once we woke up and had to travel to cornwall the next day. It is not nice being sat in complete darkness in a strange area. Also they have a kitchen area so that you can cook your own food but they did not have enough cooking utensils and the kettle was not useable as it was full of limescale that was floating inside!

Keys were collected from the Old Fleece pub next door.

When the shower was used in the bathroom above the lounge/kitchen, water came through the downstairs ceiling. The ceiling was damp and the paint/plaster was bubbling and broken, the leak had been present for before our stay. When I contacted the host they said I should have notified them sooner there was no offer of compensation or partial refund.
