The Coach House and The Stable

Comfortable. Nicely presented. Sadly we had a leak appearing in the ceiling behind the bed location (from a waste pipe serving the accommodation above us). However after contacting the team at The Fleece next door, they were able to find us an alternative room for the night and also arranged a free breakfast nearby at The Old Lodge thanks to Akex.

Absolutely amazing value. Beautiful place to spend the night.

I didn’t stay much in daylight but to have white opaque nets on the windows for privacy in the daytime might be nice.

The location was great. Staff were polite and welcoming. The room and bathroom were aesthetically pleasing.

There was a dirty bowl and dish in the cupboard. The bathroom light was a pain as it wouldn’t turn off straight away, had to wait a while for it to turn off. Needed a smaller tv as when lying in bed you couldn’t see the whole tv properly, was on an angle.

Beautiful decor next to a lovely pub very cosy, was only here for work with partner but would bring family

The property was immaculate and extremely comfortable and furnished to a very high standard

The door to property was extremely heavy and we found it very difficult to open due to the door having to be pushed very very hard to go in and out of the property, just needs adjusting to stop it sticking,but could be a hazard should there be an emergency. However, told the owner and he said it would be looked into immediately. Also property is situated by a very busy road but obviously nothing can be done about the location and did not spoil our stay.

Well equipped and loved the interior design

Front door was difficult to open. The bed was softer than I would choose.

Very friendly helpful staff. Nice modern bathroom. Good food next door. Large smart tv. Had a small kitchen with a fridge.

It was cute, lovely decor.

The only window was massive with huge curtains, we like natural light, maybe a curtain or half co we the window. Maybe a nice little glass bottle of milk, biscuits, water in the fridge. We have stayed in many places this just needed a few more little extras for the price.

Due to its proximity to the very fast main road it was not dog friendly (no fencing or gate to stop a dog running out). Cramped room, no ventilation on one of the hottest days of the year… could not have the door open because of the dog/road noise. Nowhere’s to hang towels , not even a hook in the bathroom. No privacy…. Other guests parking their cars could look straight into the room.
