Whitby Boutique - Mast Cottage

Good location and clean property. Used as a family get away. Good space in the garden to relax which is hard to come by in Whitby. Parking can be a issue as we had two cars. However we did have a pass to park one of the cars in the permit area, supplied by the host.

Location couldn’t be better and everything on your door step, decor and cleanliness perfect, everything done to a very high standard with no expense spurred, same for all fixtures and fittings, great welcome hamper, blinds, curtains, bed linens and towels top quality, all good sized bedrooms and to top a great property off, the garden at the back is stunning and more private than the pictures suggest, with the hot tub covered with a wooden canopy, summer house with decking with a cliff back drop not sure what more you could want, I can imagine in the summer you’d be out there enjoying the garden day and night, honestly the cottage is a great place to stay! Last but not least the cooking utensils, pans,pots, cutlery air fryer, oven, fridge and microwave where spotless and like brand new. A real credit to the owners, also had the painter round when we where leaving, freshening up the summer house etc and it didn’t even need it, just shows how committed and keen the owners are to keep this cottage at the highest of standards.please look after it for when I get chance to go back. Could be hard work for an older couple to get up the steps to it with bags, little dark up the cobbled alley to get too, and parking is away from the property, still only a 3 minute walk though, also bedroom door casings low and even mind your head signs didn’t stop me catching mine a couple of times, full honest reviews good and not so good, hope this helps

Lovely aesthetic in the cottage, nice furniture and coordinating decoration. Comfy beds. Good location. Hot tub.

Really poor level of cleanliness. Not a comfortable downstairs space for 6 people, would be best suited to 4. Not a dislike, more for reference, not suitable accommodation for anyone with poor mobility

Beautiful central cottage. The cottage exceptional. Extremely clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was very good. Clear instructions on the property, including access and where to park.

Location, size, facilities, decor, communication from owner, all excellent, beautiful welcome hamper.

There was nothing we didn't like, the only downside - and it was a tiny downside, would have been lovely if the fire was set and there was a couple of logs, it would have been super cosy to have got it going when we arrived

Great location, lovely fittings, good space indoor and outdoors

Perfect location, excellent well equiped cottage, hot tub was brilliant. Owners were very quick on communication when we needed assistance with the heating.

Only thing that could make this cottage even better is if it had a second toilet.
