Rooms at The Vault

The room we were in was very clean and the bathroom was excellent. The location is extremely convenient for restaurants and shops in central Buxton. A lot of thought has been put into the design of the rooms and the comfort of the guests.

Some rooms in the property face directly onto Buxton's high street, and the windows provide fairly low levels of sound isolation so please be wary of the following: - There is fairly heavy traffic outside (this in my view is acceptable and just an inevitability of the central location in Buxton). - There is a kebab/pizza place opposite The Vault which was open until around 2am on the Wednesday (...) evening that we stayed; this served as a magnet of sorts for loud, drunken buffoons. Again, this might be viewed as an inevitability of being centrally located in Buxton. I would recommend that the owners of the property include complementary earplugs for guests.

The room was modern, clean and comfortable!

The Bathroom was compact but Ok for us although my husband is 6'6". Would have liked more milk. Only enough for one drink each!

The property was very well located. It was clean and comfy.

As a solo female traveller I wasn’t entirely comfortable with having to navigate round the back down an alleyway. It was fine as it was light enough in the evenings but probably wouldn’t want to do it in the dark.

Rooms at The Vault have been really well done and well presented. All to a very high standard too and good value for money. Excellent location right in the centr of Buxton.

The room was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. It was in an ideal location. It was comfy.

The parking could be tricky if you went at a peak time. We were pre-warned about the noise from the DJ, but it was very loud until 2am due to it being bank holiday weekend.
