Perfect location

Fabulous central location in Hay on Wye. Tam the host was lovely kind and very accommodating. Everyone in Hay on Wye was extremely friendly would definitely visit again

The location was good

There were no catering facilities, no kitchen and we had to wash up in the bathroom sink next to the toilet which is unhygienic. The sponges left in the bathroom were dirty and disgusting, the washing up liquid had flies floating in it. There were cobwebs next to the sink. The whole place was grubby and some of the furniture was shabby (the cushions were falling to pieces) and uncomfortable, so much so we left a day early (we were only going to be there for 3 nights),

Location was superb, and the property was beautiful and historic

Can't fault it to be honest. Maybe a toaster would be a good addition

Cold. No heating- the owner controls the radiator remotely and forgot to turn it on! The wood fire had not been cleaned out from previous people there were no matches provided to light it ! (October/ November stay during storm Ciaran) Rugs on floor looked attractive but the curled up corners were a trip hazard. 1 tea towel provided for a 4 night stay.

Great location, charming setting and well maintained.

Location was perfect, parking too. View was fabulous. Very quirky and creaky. Host did give us a small refund to compensate for the fact we could not even have breakfast at home.

Sadly it was far more basic than we had realised with no facilities to do more than boil a kettle which had to be filled from the bathroom sink. Luckily we were only there for three nights.
