Ma mer

The location is perfect, as the house is a 3 minute walk from the port with a terrific grocery store across the street. Mariana met us and gave us a warm welcome. The house is absolutely beautiful with many amenities such as washing machine, hair dryer, and a full kitchen to name a few. Also, It is a waterfront property with an amazing view. We loved having dinner there after a day of exploring Naxos. It is near everything but still private, quiet and beautiful…a hidden gem. Mariana is a wonderful host and we are so happy to have met her! We sincerely hope to stay there again one day.

Fabulous location and beautiful accommodations

Marianna was the most gracious hat. She and her husband met us and let us into the unit. She had snacks, drink, coffee and water waiting for us. The location can’t be beat for walking into town and dining at the restaurants.

For the visitor arriving by ferry, Ma Mer is in a perfect location, steps from the pier and waterfront restaurants and clubs in Naxos town, and yet removed from some of the fray. The apartment is large, comfortable, clean, airy, and the waterfront terrace is exceptional and unique for the area as far as we could tell. Appliances all highly functional, and a portable rack for line-drying clothes. Maria Anna could not be a more responsive host, and left a nice complimentary basket of fruits and snacks for us. A food market and car rental office are right across the street.

It's worth noting that Ma Mer is on a busy street that serves the ferry pier. Just means that a couple of times a day there can be traffic out front, but the apartment is well protected from the bustle. Naxos in March can be very windy!!

Ma Mer has an excellent location by the sea in town. The view of the Potara is beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Marianna takes great pride in her house and has thought of everything to make her guests welcome and feel at home. The house is very clean, comfortable with 2 nice size showers and bathrooms, a great kitchen area and spacious living room. I would have to say this is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in thanks to the attentiveness of the owner.

We loved everything about it!

The guesthouse was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and to the Temple of Apollos. The view of the sea was amazing. And most of all the host, Marianna, was lovely and went beyond to make us feel welcome. She met us to introduce us to Naxos and gave us great recommendations. She also provided snacks and drinks and even a flask of kitron to try. She responded immediately to requests and was available to help with anything we needed including a rental car. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. It was wonderful!

This is a lovely apartment. Our host Marianna was very kind, helpful and generous. The location of the apartment is perfect, right by the sea with a lovely view of Portara, with an easy walk to all facilities and the ferry. It must be the best location in Naxos Town. The facilities were perfect, we wanted for nothing, and appreciated the kind gifts of food. We would definitely try to stay again if back in Naxos.
