Ma mer

Wow! We loved everything about Ma Mer. Marianna and her family were amazing hosts and so welcoming. The accommodation, location and views were sensational and easy to get to from the ferry port.

Most amazing views of the water and the Portara at sunset. Owners were so helpful, responsive and generous with food and drink. House is so well designed and so well decorated. Sitting on the balcony in afternoon was such a perfect Naxos experience! Very centrally located to Port.

We had the most wonderful stay at Ma Mer! Marianna our host, was lovely and helpful. She gave us suggestions of things to do, places to eat, and was available to help with any questions we had about getting around the island, hiring a car or anything else we needed. we arrived to lots of beautiful treats, fruit, homemade jam, baked goods, local cheese and even some souvenir necklaces for my daughters. The accomodation was beautiful, even better than the photos. The house was equiped with everything you could possibly need. Super comfy beds, great shower, clean and bright. The location was perfect for us, just around the corner from the heart of the old town and all the action, with our own access to a beach, ideal for a snorkel in crystal clear water on a calm day. We were even treated to shell fish direct from the sea harvested by Marianna's husband!

Great house in a great location with a terrace directly overlooking the sea, which was great to sit on for early breakfast and evening drinks, to sit with the sea in the background. A short walk to the main port area and bars and restaurants. Marianna was very friendly and gave advice on the best beaches as well as helping to organise car hire.

Absolutely beautiful view. Hostess was unbelievable, she provided so much information, was so accommodating and was so friendly. Hidden gem. So peaceful.

So nice that we were provided with beach, chairs and towels to take with us to local beaches.  We we’re able to walk to the bus station and so many shops and restaurants. One nice beach is also within walking distance. This place was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Marianna had a wide variety of snacks and treats as well! Great place to stay.

The location was excellent. very close to the port. across the street from a store and laundry. could see the temple from the patio.

The location and the house was absolutely beautiful and the personal touches by the owner were wonderful.

There was nothing to not like.

Everything! The location is fantastic. Our host Marianna is such a kind and gracious lady. the home is beautiful and spacious. Photos do not do it justice. Stay here; you will not regret it.
