Ma mer

The house is right on the beach with amazing sunset view. The location is perfect. It is on a quiet street, at least when we were there in April, but close to the port where all the restaurants and shops are. There’s a grocery store across the street. The house is clean with a full kitchen and washing machine. The host Marianna was so warm and friendly. She made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s house.

Location was fabulous. We were able to watch the sunset from the patio. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves. It was a calm and relaxing place. The house was spacious. Ma Mer had a fully equipped kitchen. We were warmly welcomed by Marianna. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.

This is a wonderful house (spacious, comfortable, fabulous view especially from the terrace, which is right on the beach) and Marianna is a great host (responsive, gracious, generous (best welcome basket), excellent English). Location is perfect (slightly removed from the center, so quieter, and easily walkable to the ferry, tourist sights and restaurants, and a good grocery). Thoughtfully furnished and appointed and excellent recommendations and assistance with travel arrangements. We would absolutely stay here again and enthusiastically recommend it to our friends visiting Naxos.

What a beautiful view and a perfect location

The property location is awesome with the view of the sea and the Portara. It is walking distance to the port and the castle and various restaurants close by. Marianna is a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. She even had kept homemade jams and cookies and fruits and bottles of water. Ma mer is a quaint house and had everything for a comfortable stay. There is even a parking spot right outside the house.

Ma Mer was in a fantastic location, very central in Naxos town but quietly tucked away with private access directly onto Grotto beach which is great for snorkelling and has amazing views. The property is spacious and the personal touches and attention to detail by Marianna was the icing on the cake! Marianna and her husband were friendly and welcoming hosts providing great insight into the local area and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend a stay at Ma Mer!

Only bad thing was the weather, since it is a very windy location - but nothing to do about the weather ;-)

Everything was exceptional, even more beautiful than the pictures! Marianna was so thoughtful and generous in providing us with local treats. We all loved our stay.

Cannot think of a thing.

This property is absolutely perfect for those wishing to be at the center of everything and nearby the city’s beach (Agios Georgios). The pictures actually don’t do it justice, as it exceeded our expectations: Modern, spacious, tasteful and comfortable for a party of 3, with all amenities and more. The old town is literally 3 minutes away and Naxos main beach 15 minutes (walking distance). Supermarkets, restaurants, bars and the port are 5 minutes away. Perfect and beautiful house, and just amazing hosts! Marianna and Vassilis were lovely, helpful, always available and had a small detail always waiting for us at the house. We had a wonderful stay thanks to this beautiful house, and their hosts. When we revisit Naxos, we would definitely choose this accommodation again! Thank you, Marianna!

Nothing to mention

Ma mer is an exceptional house. We loved the décor, location and hospitality of Marianna. She welcomed us with breakfast and continuously left us lovely, edible surprises during our stay. She also provided us with a comfortable baby bed and baby specific utensils. This attention to detail and the amenities available were the definition of luxury, with a greek soul. The terrasse was the cherry on the cake. One of the best views of the portera, with access directly to the pebble beach. We loved our stay, thanks again!
