"Quiet and comfortable apartment on the edge of Penzance."

A clean, modern, well-equipped and reasonably spacious ground floor apartment up a hill on the eastern edge of Penzance. The furniture is simple but there's everything I needed - good sized fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, reliable internet, plenty of sockets including next to the beds, and a very comfy bed. It was good value at the time I went, and there is a dedicated parking space. There's also a small enclosed garden with deck chairs. It's mostly quiet apart from occasional (very soft, and not at all bothersome) sounds from the flat above. Very communicative host who always responded quickly to messages.

Not really negatives but as others have said there is no view from the windows, but if you walk a few paces from the front car park you can look down across Long Rock beach. The shower room is effectively a "wet room" so bring flip flops or slippers if you want to avoid getting damp feet. I would also suggest bringing a torch if you arrive after dark, to help you get in. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of town.

"Perfect hideaway"

Lovely, well furnished and well equipped apartment with everything we needed to self cater. A wonderful base from which to explore the coast path. Very peaceful, even though it is in a block of apartments. It was great to have the enclosed garden for the dog. Lovely communication from the owner.

"Great value for money and comfortable to stay."

Very dog friendly and easy walkable access into town. We liked the fact that cooking was made easier due to all the equipment there. If we’d stayed longer, we could have done some baking.

The bathroom is a wet room which made a wet floor every time you needed to use the loo. We couldn’t use the towel rail (which didn’t seem to turn on) as the bathroom was heavily condensed despite the extractor fan. Sadly, no view over the bay until you are in the car park.

The kitchen was well stocked, and thank you for the Cornish tea and shortbread. They were a lovely gift. The lounge, dining and kitchen were quite spacious. The parking spot was great.

When booking the unit we thought there would be a view of the sea, but there was none. No view at all. The streets around the area are very narrow. The bathroom was a wet room so water went everywhere.
