Panoramic Floor - Las Americas

A nice sized 2 bedroom modern apartment on the 13th floor of a tower block. Whereas the tower block was an about 2 star rating at most, the apartment itself would be a 3/4 star quality. Two balconies with fantastic views of the ocean. Loads of equipment, even a washing machine

The noise… Oh my God it was very bad. When the Veronica Strip started up at night I couldn’t believe it. We had to come in off the balcony and close all the windows and doors and even then it was pounding our bodies. We couldn’t even hear the television with the constant thump thump. This went on until precisely 0400hrs….EVERY night. We could only get to sleep after that. We had booked for a week and wanted to move immediately but the management refused to allow this. There is no way in the world anyone would stay here unless like us, THEY WERE CAUGHT IN THE TRAP. Further than that there was a continuous smell of sewerage in the apartment which we couldn’t get rid of at any time of the day. There was a sickening smell of someone smoking cannabis when we opened the windows or sat out on the balcony. Every morning we had to hoover up black spots of soot off the balconies and clean the outside furniture. While sitting out you could actually see soot in the air, which was coming from the overhead chimney. It ruined our clothes until we copped on what it was. The swimming pool was cold and looked like it had been neglected for years. Nobody swam there and very few lay out around it.

The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, has everything you need and the hosts are incredible. It’s close to everything you need be that beach, bar, restaurant, supermarket etc. totally brilliant location for everything.

It is right in the heart of the action so can be a little noisy but nothing that ear plugs can’t sort.

The amazing view. The roomy apartment. The 2 spacious balconies. Good privacy. Very good communication with the host. All amenities were within easy walking distance.

The noise is a factor but is definitely compensated by the proximity to everything the resort has to offer.

Property was spotlessly clean, very spacious and was a 2 minute walk from the Veronica’s strip! All facilities were great and we had an excellent time. Thank you to the host for being so hospitable and communicating with us when necessary! If you are looking for somewhere to stay that puts you right in the centre of playa de las americas then this apartment is perfect. Just to top it off, the view of the sea from both balconies is incredible!
