Luxury on a Budget Chelmsford - B&B ROOM in a quiet family home

Big comfy bed in a large room with lots of storage. Lots of snacks and cereal, which was a lovely idea if you eat all that, and a fridge full of sugary drinks. Lovely spotless bathroom with amazing shower. Off street prking. Hosts had clearly gone to a lot of trouble and it was appreciated. As lovely as everything was in the room, it would have been great to have herbal teas available. Was great to have a fully stocked bathroom of eveything you may have forgotten. I didn't think until till afterwards that I should have told them I don't eat wheat based products, as I realised the bread and crumpets would probably go to waste.

Non contact Host thing. I like to be able to communicate with hosts by text. I'm not hooked up to the internet 24/7 and I don't need the extra stress when I'm travelling of not being able to contact hosts directly by phone or text. . Ps. The satnat does not take you to the front door.

Location was fine for what I wanted with a surprisingly good breakfast, with access to all sorts of breakfast bars, cereal, tea, coffee, soft drinks and toast

I stayed for one night before a friends wedding close by, upon arrival I found the instructions easy to follow and straight forward. The room was small but had everything you could possible imagine you might need. The attention to detail was amazing, I informed the host I was vegan and there were lots of vegan snacks in the room which I whole heartedly took advantage of. The bathroom is well stocked in case guests have forgotten something too. The bed was super comfy, the linen smelt clean and fresh and there were clean towels. I feel this property is great value for money, the host obviously cares about the guests and went above the call of duty to make sure I had a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

The only thing I would suggest is to put a local taxi company number in the booklet with all the local info as I found it difficult to find a local taxi number where I didn't have to join there app.

We love the fact that the host provided a lot of information/details before we got there. The room was spotless, bed comfortable, and the fridge was packed with so many drinks and preservatives. They provided plenty of stuff for breakfast and other microwaved food that you didn't need to go out to eat or order in if you so wish. The shower was delightful! It was in a nice residential area, so it was quiet. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Nothing that we didn't like really.

Very cosy place to stay. Slept soundly for the night.

It was somewhere to stay and not very expensive, provided a room for the night.

Had the kitchen and bed in one small room, I would've preferred it without the kitchen facilities and had more space.
