Great sized room and very comfy beds. A great pub for a few evening drinks too. Rooms weren’t too hot even in the middle of August. We loved our stay.

A couple of maintenance issues in my room but I appreciate its work in progress

Both the pub and restaurant are closed on the day I was to stay, but this is not mentioned clearly until it is too late to cancel without losing money. NOT ACCEPTABLE. The room was ostensibly a deluxe, but was small and getting tatty. Tea and coffee supplies were old and stale. A receptacle for used teabags etc had clearly not been emptied in months and stank. We put it out of the room. Pretentious and overpriced by owners that think they are in the right. Will NOT be going back

The bed was very comfy and nice decor in bedroom.

There was no breakfast or dinner available on the day that I was there. They don’t serve breakfast any day at present and believe dinner is only available Thursday to Sunday. This should have been made explicit on booking. No mirror in the bedroom to get ready and the hairdryer didn’t work properly. Music played in the pub downstairs till about 10.30 which was a bit noisy. Bathroom is very tired and shower not great.

Great little country pub, very friendly staff, very comfy bed, slept like a log.

The large King sized bed was very comfortable. The car parking was convenient and the room was surprisingly quiet given it was above the pub with live music on Thursday night and a Rugby match on TV on a Friday night. The shower was acceptable with good hot water.

The lack of breakfast was an issue, as nowhere nearby offered breakfast before 9am either.
