Venturini Guest House - Centro città

When I tried to communicate regarding my arrival time changed and moved the date for check in. I contact number as mentioned through the head office (not the key- man). They responded very unhelpful instead of helping me contact the key- man and passing my message and details of the new arrival information. The office told me that please get in touch with the number mentioned by the keyman directly.

Breakfast was not included. The property was clean, and at first glance, looked fresh and inviting. There where many restaurants on the doorstep, and it was close to the city centre. The shower was amazing, and the ventilation in the bathroom was exceptional. Even while the shower was in operation, the mirror didn't mist up.

On arrival, after waiting more than an hour for the agent , we were shown into the apartment and paid our Bologna city tax, (50 Euros),for which no receipt was issued. The toilet seat was loose. The TV didn't work. We sent a message to the agent asking if there was a trick to work the TV that we were missing. We received no answer. We changed the batteries on the remote, and looked around the back of the TV. Every time the plug was touched, it tripped the electrics for the whole apartment, so we left it alone and made do without the cable TV we expected to have. The washing machine didn't work either. We read and followed the instructions more than once and discovered that it switched on, did a few rotations ,and then stopped with all the lights flashing, because there was no water going into the machine. We also discovered that one needed a code to dispose of rubbish in the nearby municipal outside bin, which we never received. Lastly, there was an air-conditioner in the apartment which we were unable to use because we had no remote, or any idea how to use it. By the last day of our stay, it was very close and muggy inside the apartment and it was too noisy from outside revelry to keep the windows open.

Definitely the best part is the location. It is almost near by the Finestralla. You can reach many tourist attractions and nice restaurants by walking. It is also close to the main train station.

There was a cleaning problem when we arrived. The apartment had not been cleaned. The host called the cleaning lady immediately and organise cleaning. It was quite annoying to welcomed by a dirty apartment. Thankfully, when we told our problem, they refunded the half of the cleaning fee.
