Hammock Hostels - Bandra

Hammock Hostel has been, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve stayed at during my nearly four months traveling across different cities in India. The place is spotless, extremely clean and comfortable, and every detail shows real care and dedication. I loved that they have a WhatsApp group where they share all the activities and tours they organize—it really makes exploring the city easy and fun. During my stay, I watched my first cricket match, and India won the championship! I wasn’t interested at first, but the energy and passion of the staff were so contagious that I ended up enjoying it completely. The location is perfect: a quiet neighborhood with shops, pharmacies, and businesses, and just a few blocks away I found a currency exchange offering the best rate for my dollars. The staff is amazing, attentive, and always willing to help. If you’re looking for a hostel that combines cleanliness, comfort, a great location, and a positive, lively atmosphere, Hammock Hostel is hands down the best choice in India.

Honestly, I have no complaints. Everything about Hammock Hostel exceeded my expectations.

Nice social hostel, much space and privacy curtains

The frikkin' fan in the room makes so much noise. It's a small model so it has to turn super fast, there's no speed control, so turning it off works until some other roomie turns it back on. This all whilst the staff sets the ac on low air flow... So basically it's hard to fall asleep this way. Hearing from other guests other rooms also have this issue.

If someone needs to stay and explore Mumbai. This will be a good place. Good staff . Specially Arjun is a nice guider for foreigners like me.

I don't like cats. But some of them are pet lovers. It's okay not harm to anyone

The staff is very nice and helpful! Breakfast is good. We had the private/double room which was fine for the value for money! The hostel is located in a residential area so it’s quiet and has great restaurants/cafes, but keep in mind it’ll take some time to join city centre.
