The location was good, near the main attraction of AlUla. The best thing is the owner, Abu Ali that does everything to make you feel at home. He drove us everywhere we wanted to see the best place in Alula. Just contact him to see if he is available and enjoy AlUla.

The owner is very kind and helpful. He took me to the office to buy ticket to Hegra and he also brougt me amazing breakfast and lunch. I had a perfect stay there.

(1) One major reason I booked this place was because the owner also runs the tour at a reasonable price. Once I arrived, I found out the price also included transport from the attraction spot to the winter park and house, so I didn't need a taxi (except once I decided to go alone to somewhere). I definitely made the right decision. (2)The owner is a retired local man, he's very friendly, well organised, made a good plan to visit different places. One place I wanted to visit was 6km away from Alula, I paid a bit more and he drove me there and also other places nearby too. I was happy to see more of the rocks. I learned some Arabic from him, he also showed me how to cook Arabic chicken and rice. Good experiences. (3) The facility in the apartment is simple but has all I needed, especially has a private bathroom, which was most important to me.

(1) The location is a bit far from the old town, where has places for tourists to eat and shop, but in Alula you will need a car/taxi to get around anyway, no public transport, everyone drives around. Uber has limited cars, so better use other taxi apps. Alula taxis are available at winter park and old town, but the price doubled Uber taxi. (2) Two nights, there were children playing inside the building at night (during Ramadan), which woke me up. But after telling the owner, the third night was all good.

The host is so friendly and kind I felt like I was living in my own home he didn’t even hesitate to cook us food will definitely come back

Abu Ali (host) was really accommodating and picked us up from the airport. He shared where supermarkets and nearby restaurants were, even offering to take us to the supermarket. He also does tours (we didn't need) and has a good sense of humour.

It ticked out boxes, so nothing to criticise.

The host messaged us before the check in , provided map of the property & offered to pick us up from the buss station. The apartment looks exactly like on photos and its very big.

My husband and I stayed there for one night just to sleep & fresh up as we were on KSA road trip and mostly camped . It’s affordable place, semi clean. There’s no bed sheets or quilt sheets just blankets & I’m not sure if they wash them after every guest as they had few stains. They provide towels but we used our own. The apartment has no soundproof. People were shouting & slamming the doors 1am & repairing in the building started 8am. They accept only cash payment. Make sure you have the exact amount as they never gave us the change. It was only 30SAR but still … The host’s worker tried to enter the room using his own key WITHOUT KNOCKING FIRST at 9am. Even though I told them that we were gonna leave at 10. He could not open the door as we had the key in, but there are 2 doors for the apartment. After the attempt of entering from the first one he went to the second door. My husband wasn’t in the apartment and I was still in bed half asleep wearing pjs! I had to jump from the bed and stop a man from entering the apartment!
