The owner is very nice. Recommended place to visit in Al Ula US. The room is very clean with comfort

The owner Ali is a friendly, honest and kind man. Although we don't understand each other our countries language, he kept on using google translate and keep talking. He is a very hard working man as I said I treat him for dinner in ourside restaurant but he insist to go home and cook for me. He drove me to visit some places with reasonable price. I would recommend this apartment to others.

This place is best if you want a accommodation and transport "package", which I believe is the most value for money in Alula. The rooms are basic but clean, owner is very welcoming and lives in the same house and keeps the place tidy. No issue with Wifi if you are not too far from the router. It is in a residential area located kind of off from tourists sites. Unless you rent your own car (Yelo is not too far away) , your only option is to let the owner to take you around for SAR100-200 per day. He is very friendly and knows all the spots in Alula. With his rather limited English and juggling many different tourists (due to his popularity), it's best just to let him know in advance the places you want to visit and let him decide the schedule for you, He will say it in a smile "Just trust me". Also be sensitive to your demand, he is a retired man not an Uber driver.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and has microwave and kettle and milk provided for tea and coffee! Soap, shampoo and toilet paper provided rowel provided x 1 appartment have to go up flight of stairs to 2 Nd level no lift . It's near hospital it's better if you have your own car not walking distance to food shops Mr Ali took me to super market first day to buy snacks etc rest of time ate near old town The owner Mr Ali is lovely and kind man who did pick me up from bus stop and show me harran viewpoint and elephant rock free of cost unfortunately he lives in Tabuk and had family function so had to leave in evening of my first day he was available on WhatsApp for any questions getting taxi from location I found difficult Uber or bolt or careem they use another app for taxis karein I think so for me that was only down side WiFi in apparments was ok for WhatsApp but for searching was little slow but I made do with it as I had. No Saudi SIM card . Alula is lovely the old town tour and daddan/ Ikmah and Hegra tours well worth the trip one of highlights of Saudi Arabia book with Experience Alula.

Location near hospital but taxis seemed not to be found ! I had tour booked experience Al ula for 9.30 am so I got Mr Ali to arrange his friend a taxi man to drop me at winter park which worked out well as didnt want to miss tour! Get the other taxi app down loaded if need to use Taxi as obviously Mr Ali can't always be around to drive you ! As Uber / bolt not so good in Alula Winter park around 30 SAR from apparment and old town around 15 to 20 SAR from apparment By the way buses from Medina to Alula is with North west company they leave from near Uhud leave 10 am daily and returning to Medina everyday. 4.15 pm the bus leaves opposite SAPTCO office Alula as SAPTCO know closed in Alula only North West bus goes .there is no office Alula to buy ticket online or buy return when you get at there office in Medina .to buy ticket to come to Alula. No other buses from Alula to anywhere else in Saudi only Medina which seems to be transport hub ! You can get taxi to Tabuk or even taxi to Medina shared cost 120 SAR to Medina ot sure we're it drops you In Medina as I got bus .

Abu Ali is a great host, he upgraded our room and even offered lunch to us. The real plus is that we hired him as a driver and he took us everywhere and to all the best spots. As he says "Abu Ali complete" and he truly gives you a full tour of Al Ula and surrounding areas. He is very punctual and goes above and beyond to help you have a great stay. He even found a taxi/car from Al Ula to Medina for us. Overall, he is a very friendly and kind person with a great sense of humour.

Internet was so bad. There was plenty of hair on a bedsheets. Air conditioning was unimaginably loud it’s impossible to sleep with. So we had awful sleep
