Tea pick view Ella Amazing views and unforgettable food I had a wonderful stay here in Ella. The view is absolutely stunning and truly one of the highlights of this place. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. One of the best parts of my stay was the dinner - I had some of the most delicious curries there, easily one of the best meals during my trip. Enjoying it on the beautiful terrace overlooking the surroundings made the experience even more special. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ella!

Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka so far! Views were incredible, staff were so helpful and friendly, bed was comfortable & shower was good - nice & hot. Breakfast was also plentiful - we had to ask them to leave a few things out on our last day as we couldn't eat it all! asela collected us from the station which we really appreciated. We also handed in laundry one morning at 9.30am and got it back by 8pm that night - such a great service! And the owners here are very kind.Always looked after us and gave us what we needed. Would really recommend staying here when in Ella!

Managed by family who are helpful, but you need to be mindful that they are also busy in their family stuff most of the time, so need to grab attention. View is amazing.

The place is under renovation, so slightly disruptive. The room is on small side and toilet is smelly although its all spotless clean. (May be the drain?). Quite a bit distance away from the main town By sri lankan standard the facility is a slightly overpriced.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tea Pick View Ella. The hotel is not actually located in Ella, and the road to reach the property is difficult and inconvenient. Safety was a major concern, especially for female travelers. The surrounding area felt unsafe, and we noticed suspicious people along the road who appeared to be using drugs. At night, stray dogs were barking loudly, making it very hard to sleep peacefully. The service was extremely poor, and the staff were not helpful. Cleanliness was also unacceptable. The room was not properly cleaned, and we saw frogs and cockroaches inside. The bathroom had a bad smell and was not maintained well. Overall, it was a waste of money. We booked for two nights but checked out early and moved to another lodge on Badulla Road. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful family run hotel. The family is incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, and they truly make you feel at home. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. The location is peaceful. And the view over the tea plantations is amazing, monkeys were playing in the trees next to our balcony it was incredible To reach the main high street in Ella, you need a tuk-tuk, which costs around 500-600 LKR. They made us breakfast every morning, traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of eggs, coconut pancakes, roti & fruit. Nothing crazy but still yummy. The husband and wife who run the hotel are very accommodating and happy to help with almost any request. They arranged a tuk-tuk driver for us, and in one day we were able to visit Nine Arches Bridge, Ella Temple, and a tea plantation for 3,000 LKR. Laundry service was also available at 890 LKR per kilo, and our clothes were returned clean and neatly folded. Their children (aged 3 and 8) are incredibly polite and lovely, such a sweet family. We truly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ella.

If you are looking for a quiet homestay to take a break from hotels, this is the place for you. We only stayed here for one night, as it was our overnight stop on our way to Galle, but it was enough time to see how special this place is. It is newly built, and is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It has a beautiful view of the mountains and tea plantations that you appreciate as soon as you open your eyes in the morning. It is well maintained, clean and tidy. However, the whole experience would not have been the same without the warm welcome and hospitality of the owner Asela and her family. They organized a Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast for us and made us feel very welcome. If we go back to Ella, we will definitely come back.

Nice and comfortable! You got your own big balcony facing a beautiful view quitely. Their hospitality are very warm and welcoming. I love this place. If one day i visited Ella again , I will choose here again definitely.

Located in a calmer area from Ella. Nice view on tea fields. The owners are an adorable couple who will fix you up for anything.

Like anywhere in central Sri Lanka, it’s a bit humid.
