Beautiful 2 Bedroom Cottage in Oxton

A lovely location in a quiet village. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

The seating for 4 was a bit of a challenge in the lounge. I imagine it would be rather chilly in the winter as there was a clear gap around the front door.

Good location

The upstairs bathroom is ridiculously small. Very difficult for a thin person to use let alone anyone who is larger than average. No where to hang three bath towels ie one per guest. No paper towel to dry hands when using the downstairs bathroom. My advice would be for the owner and two other adults to stay there for a few nights and experience the problems first hand. We weren't game to take our suitcases up the steep stairs so the living room was cluttered with three suitcases.

Just such a lovely detached quaint cottage in a quiet village. Nice size garden with hammock and seating. Lovely kitchen, larger than expected. Pub opposite with great food. Obviously you can hear people enjoying themselves sitting outside but not intrusive. So quiet generally with hardly any traffic! Local shop just round the corner for essentials. Overall it was a very comfortable cosy stay!!!

Keine Spülmaschine (obwohl Küche groß genug), Badezimmer sehr eng und ungünstig konzeptioniert, Duschabtrennung war defekt und wurde während des Aufenthalts notdürftig (mit Klebeband) repariert, Keine Lademöglichkeit für E-Auto vorhanden

The grounds and location were excellent the cottage was lovely

The living room could do with another seat as difficult to seat 4 adults comfortably

Gorgeous cottage, with everything you need and handy farm shop just round the corner. Landlord extremely helpful when I needed to book an additional night at short notice. Loved our stay and would definitely visit again!

A superb cottage, with excellent decor and furnishings, very comfortable bed. Excellent walks, peaceful with amazing views.

The traffic is a little noisy, living in an area with no traffic, you would get used to it over time. A dishwasher would have been pleasant extra.
