Beautiful 2 Bedroom Cottage in Oxton

The cottage is in a lovely village with great access to local amenities and good rural dog walks, the property is exactly as described and peaceful. It was really cosy and we had a great stay.

Some fresh milk for a cuppa on arrival would have been good but there was uht milk provided. Property is dog friendly but we were advised to bring our own bowls/crate/poo bags etc so maybe look to adding those? Wouldn’t stop us coming back again though it’s a lovely place. Their website had good info about local grocery options and food and drink which we used and worked well.

Only problem was the slabs at back door was slippery residue and algae buildup

Very clean, comfortable and warm. Great location in a lovely village which was nice and quiet. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Perfect for the two of us.

It would be good value if four people were staying however the seating in the lounge was only really suited for 3. Would be a bit of a squeeze for four adults.

Cottage had everything I needed for my short stay. Comfortable, clean and warm. Great location near to my place of work. Easy secure parking. Very comfortable bed.

Perfect location with dog walks from the door. Pub across the road selling food and the people were very friendly. The cottage was well stocked with wood which was lovely but the cottage was heated really well and felt very snug and beautifully furnished. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well stocked although no dishwasher. We will definitely return.

Maybe provide dog bowls for water and a torch by the back door for letting the pooches out at night, there is a security light at the side but it is a sensor one.
