Meo Vac Clay House

The room smelt like sewage the whole time. I think the awful smell was coming out of the shower drain. The lobby was covered with trash, bottles, and beer cans. We could not sit at any of the tables. You can not get food outside of their limited dinner hours. There were not enough outlets in the room. The light switches were hidden in a terrible spot. The hotel was loud at night with people yelling. The area had a lot of construction going on. Ypu are better off staying 5 minutes up the road in Meo Vac. The room was way too expensive for what we received. Worst hotel I have stayed at in years.

Nice big room. Great location

It’s a backpacker central. Restaurant is packed and dominated with loud heavy drinking backpackers every night. They have great fun i know but as independent travellers you have no choice but to dine in town.

the place looks nice but you are told nothing about your stay

we was looking forward to a nice dinner as we had had all over Vietnam sadly this was not the case. man at our lodge asked us if we was having my dinner implying he would be making the dinner but he then just told us to go to the reception for dinner not sure why maybe not enough people to make it worth his time.sadly this was the worst mistake we had made there was a big crowd of backpacks having dinner not a problem we knew it would be like this and had decided to try it out as it was our last night on the loop after paying twice the price for 3 dishes rice a beef dish and spring rolls the food was awful and cold we think they just went in the hall where the backpackers was just finishing up and scooped up the cold food and gave it to us what a shame this place looks ok but staff and food not great so would not recommend

Good location for a bike trip. Good party atmosphere in the evenings

The food is some of the worst I’ve ever had. It is definitely not as advertised. Rooms were large enough however the beds were so uncomfortable and sheets had stains on them. bathrooms also were not clean at all

It's like a cattle market. Best designed for backpacking tour group tbh.

Whole venue is carefully crafted especially for backpackers

Duvet was too warm and found the bed sheets irritating, probably just me.
