GBGood stopover on coast to coast walk. Staff very friendly and helped with guiding on how shower operated. Nice refresh in accommodation but tight for space which is what charming old pubs can be. Great atmosphere in bar downstairs.
Breakfast was a bit limited. But tasty.

Het ontbijt was erg teleurstellend. Slechte oploskoffie en een drillerig gekookt ei.

GBWe arrived off the coast to coast and were instantly looked after, shown to a table, poured a drink, food order taken. Told us whenever we liked they would show us to our room. In the morning the same care and personal attention when it came to breakfast and checking out.
It’s an old coaching inn. It was exactly what we expected for a building of its history and vintage. Everything was clean and comfortable.
