The Ferry Boat Inn

mooie locatie langs de befaamde NC500, mooie upselling door aan een continental ontbijt upgrade te doen.

In de annex lijken de muren van papier, zo gehorig is het (gelukkig hadden wij de eerste nacht geen buren). De kamer was stoffig en tijdens het diner rook de opgang erg naar frituur. Voor het bedrag wat er gerekend wordt verwacht je meer. Tijdens het ontbijt waren de borden nog vochtig.

Absolutely everything, from the moment we were greeted at the door , the welcome nothing was a problem , rooms were basic but cozy. Food was brilliant , live music brilliant with sing a long . Real quaint Ullapool feel and most impressive was the amazing barmaid that pretty much ran the whole hotel by herself without being stressed . Her customer service was outstanding , would I go back absolutely ! Perfect spot 👍👍👍👌

The room was a little tired but an excellent location in the centre of the town. Parking outside was easy but that may be because of the time of year.

The welcome could have been warmer and more enthusiastic.

A continental breakfast was offered for £5 which was quite good.

We took some time to work out that the hot water needed to be turned on via a switch in the main room!

The location was lovely. Food was excellent. Staff were responsive when we needed something. Very dog friendly.

Room was ridiculously small and should really be a single. No mattress topper as stated, not even a mattress protector, simply not good enough. No shortbread as stated, cheese crackers instead, very odd. Horrendously noisy fire door, which wasn’t actually fit for purpose as it didn’t fully close. The wooden window frames need attention. A strange piece of fabric hanging at the bathroom window, an after thought. Elastic bands holding the toilet roll in place is unacceptable. Lady on breakfast duty looked thoroughly miserable with arms permanently folded, having worked in hospitality, a smile really is important. All in all, an odd place. The Inn serves good food but not good accommodation.

Fantastic location, close to great cafes and sea views, very quiet,.beds comfortable, good shower, plenty of towels.

Arrived to unwashed coffee cups and cream crackers instead of biscuits! No chair or proper shelves to put anything on in bedroom or bathroom and clothes hangers kept falling off the hooks! Breakfast was basic with poor coffee and croissants.

Very nice rooms in a prime location. Clean and comfortable. Would absolutely book again next time I am in the area.

Would have preferred a scottish breakfast to a continental one, but otherwise everything was really great.

Wonderful view of Ullapool harbour

It was hard to find and keep the electric shower at a comfortable temperature. The breakfast was not included. It's very cheap and basic. Go elsewhere if you prefer fresh croissants and cappuccino.

Pleasant location

Room not made up on arrival - had to actually ask for bed sheets and quilt/pillow covers and towels. Overcharged for dog stay Poky room Staff didn’t know what they were doing
