Didn't have breakfast.

We booked the hotel as an overnight stay on the way north. When we arrived we found out that there was a wedding going to take place that afternoon. We weren't informed at check in about the wedding and the noise that would be created. We tried to order food but we're informed that there was a 45-60min delay as pizzas were being prepared for the wedding party. Our room was over the function room that was being used by the wedding. The disco was so loud we couldn't get to sleep. The disco ended after midnight. In the early hours we were woken by a squeaky trolley being taken to the function room and the room was cleaned, we could hear furniture being moved around. We got very little sleep all night. Had we been informed that a wedding function was going to be that close to our room and the level of noise that would be created we would never have booked this hotel.

The staff were very friendly. It was a good location for seeing your friends.

Good location. Large bedrooms but in need of a deep clean- the staff were friendly.

One of the sinks did not drain properly and the shower was very weak in that bedroom. Breakfast took 40 mins to arrive for whole party making us late for our day out and when it did arrive- the vegetarian breakfast sausages were undercooked and gluten free hash browns were still cold! Not what you expect when you pay specifically for breakfast and it was not provided in an edible state.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The room was a bit dark, and the bathroom was old-fashioned but perfectly usable. We didn't use the shower as only there 1 night.

The only thing that let it down was the food in the pub. We had an evening meal that wasn't very nice and breakfast wasn't great either. I would stay again, but give the food a miss.
