Excellent breakfast, staff were very friendly and helpful. Quiet, comfortable and spacious room.

At 11 am check out time was earlier than expected and of most hotels I stay at. Restaurant at the pub was understaffed and as a result service was a bit slow.

Shower was poor, shaving light didn't work

Close to where I needed to be the following day.

We were a group of golfers that intended eating at the location. When we arrived we were told the restaurant had closed due to staff training. The large bar/ dining area had just 3 people drinking at the bar and lacked atmosphere. We had to go out to find some food which after a 2 hour drive then a game of golf was the last thing I needed.
