Clock Tower Retreat - Sea View Apartments in Morecambe

Apartment easy to gain access with a key code. Close to the beach, town and railway station. Facilities to cook a meal if required. Would stay here again.

There is no parking outside the apartment, the carpark is not that far away but far enough when you have luggage to carry and then carry up a flight of stairs, we were ok but some people may struggle.

the apartment is beautiful, tastefully decorated, plenty of room. sea views from lovely big windows. close to all amenities. decent size tv plenty to watch but no terrestrial channels . lovely big comfortable bed. great wifi. well equipped kitchen including air fryer.

unfortunately for all the good there is more not to like, starting with the key box, could be us but we struggled to get in open and then also struggled to get door open when we eventually got the key out. the box outside the flat was a lot easier.the stench in the hall way was dreadful and got worse as the temperature got higher. like others we struggled with the stairs, steep and narrow barely room for a suitcase. once inside we could not open some of the windows especially the bedroom, menopausal and hot weather made for little sleep. i did text the number given to ask was there a knack to open said windows but didn't get a reply. sofa uncomfortable and the glass on the coffee table is unfixed, dangerous if children are running round. cutlery handles came off when using so a spoon head would fall in the brew and inside the handle is filthy. the smell from the hallway started to seep under the door as the temperature rose. spring loaded doors caused a few injuries if we didn't get out of the way quick enough, again not the best for young children. would have felt easier with a fire escape, if a fire started in the stairwell it is the only route out. however we clocked fire extinguishers on each floor which we familiarised ourselves with the instructions.

Location brilliant and apartment lovely.

The apartment was very clean & comfortable. Very central , no parking but plenty nearby which people need to budget for. Maybe use the Ringo app. Bed was very comfortable & shower was good. Very light & airy. Good smart TV & internet

Awful damp, fusty smell in the lobby entrance. Steep stairs. Strong internal fire doors. Toilet seat needed fixing

Location is great,View across the Bay is wonderful, Good Shower, Bed comfortable, Kitchen Units and Appliances look New,living area comfortable enough

No information about Flat or Locale available in the apartment, A gap in the front window frame (and it was a very windy week of weather) ,No Terrestrial TV or Radio available only digital media some of which were subscribers and the Remote Control stopped working, The cutlery, particularly the spoons were loose and stained, Not even a Tea towel in kitchen. The bedroom door is a hazard nearly had my fingers off on a few occasions. The wardrobe was 2 thirds full with duvets The shower cabinet leeked and a leek from the washhand basin. Please be aware that the stairs are very steep and narrow, ( I am of a medium sized build but still bumped into the handrail three times ( bruises to show )

Amazing location set on the sea front .Close to all amenities It's a home away from home, everything you need is provided for. There are fair ground rides, crabbing pool and Happy mount park which my son loved. Anuja the host answered all my queries I had, we'll be back again in the future
