Clock Tower Retreat - Sea View Apartments in Morecambe

Picking up the keys was easy with the keyboxes .... although the front door keys were only in the downstairs box which isn't quite what it says on the instructions. Position is great and it was nice to have a kitchen

Stairs are a bit narrow if you have a medium sized bag. There was no bin in the kitchen (I think from the description there should have been). TV channels didn't really connect whilst I was there.

Great location. Great views, clean and tidy. Host was great at communicating and we managed to check in early. 10/10

This was our first trip to Morecambe and we loved it. I don't think you could find a better location! It was within walking distance to everything. The balcony doors gave you a beautiful view of the sea so you could see the sunrise and sunset everyday which was beautiful over the bay! ❤️ There were shops, restaurants, arcades, takeaways and pubs nearby and a little park literally over the road. If you walked a bit further, you could get to ALDI supermarket, as well as the market (which was open regularly and ridiculously cheap), a cinema (which was also really cheap if you went in the morning) and a crab pool. Slightly further away was a gigantic park (I think it was called Happy Mount) which had a few rides, trampolines, a play park, an ice cream van and a cafe. By train, you could get to Lancaster and Blackpool. The shops in Morecambe had everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday. The apartment itself was safe and secure and I felt happy taking my children there. There were lock boxes with codes for the keys and security cameras all over the entrance. Windows and doors were secure. It was clean, tidy and really modern. Some seaside apartments can be a bit dated but this was stunning! The shower was hot and there were plenty of soft towels and clean bedding. We had lots of storage in the kitchen and it was well equipped. There were lots of apps on the T.V. We were sent a useful information guide just before we arrived which was a nice touch. It is a very clean area and you could regularly see council workers cleaning the streets and emptying the bins (first thing in the morning until last thing at night). The people in the area were very friendly and we had some great meals. In total, there were three parks along the coastline, within walking distance, and a small splash pad. If you're looking for a family friendly place to stay then I cannot recommend this place enough.

Fantastic apartment situated in an ideal spot with everything close to hand. Everything you need for your stay in the apartment is at hand. Host contacted us a few times making sure we were happy. Will definitely be using again in the future 😂
