Nothing; everything was great

We stayed for 2 days and 1 night and wished we could stay longe. The views around Halong Bay were magical, especially early in the morning, we can do the Tai-chi on sundeck. The staff were warm, polite, and always happy to help us with anything we needed. The meals onboard were excellent with plenty of options, and the overall service truly felt 5star.

We loved sitting on the top deck in the evening watching the sunset over the bay. The itinerary was well planned but never felt rushed, so we still and plenty of time to enjoy and relax onboard. The cabin was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly modern for a cruise ship.

The sceery was breathtaking, the food was delicious, and the crew were always smiling and helpful. The room was modern, quiet, and much bigger than we expected.

The room was larger than expected and had an amazing ocean view. We especially appreciated how clean and well maintained the entire cruise was.

Ha Long Bay is a highly polluted brown cesspit. It is nothing like the turquoise bay advertised. It really needs a solution. We saw a massive amount of rubbish thrown into the sea at night by staff- lots of plastic. It’s truely a shame to Vietnam and needs a program in place. A beautiful place has been destroyed by humans. We couldn’t wait to get off the boat. They also stick to a strict schedule with breakfast before 7am and yell down the hallway incredibly early to announce it’s time for activities. You don’t have to get off but they don’t really cater for people staying on the boat. Don’t book the 2nd day- they take u off the boat til 3pm to get it ready for the next 1 dayers to board and then repeat the same cruise as day 1. The rooms were quite lovely though -with a nice bath. Altho our children’s room had no hot water most of the time.
