Amanda Luxury Cruise

The experience was very beautiful. We went here on our Anniversary. The rooms are very well kept and offer unblocked beautiful views. Hospitality is to notch. Surely recommend. All the staff are well mannered and polite. Anna was very helpful throughout and Andre, The manager is a very cooperative guy. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on Amanda Cruise — and a big part of that was thanks to David and Andre. Right from the start, they welcomed us with warmth, friendliness, and a genuine eagerness to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Their service felt personal and attentive: whether during meals or excursions, they checked on us often, remembered our preferences (food, drinks, comfort), and always had a smile. Andre, as the cruise manager, showed great professionalism and made sure everything ran smoothly, while David’s kindness and helpfulness throughout the trip made the experience feel extra special.

De boat itself is a winner! Super beautiful room, with cosy balcony! The restaurant was excellent. Food was good.

Be aware!! This is not a cruise!! We booked the 3 day 2 night option because we wanted to get out of the cruise ship packed area around ha long. When we were on board we got informed that almost everybody had the 1 night option and that for day two would be ‘rented out’ To a daytrip boat. That boat did not have the comfort level of the main boat and still was in the mass tourism spectrum. Very disappointing. In the hindsight the main boat is a floating restaurant. It sails maybe maximum 30min in one direction and 30 min back. That was not what we signed up for. If you know this in advance you choose the format but this is not how it’s advertised. Therefore it feels like a very expensive toerist trap. I was informed that because of environmental regulations the big boat is not allowed deeper into the Bay Area and that was the reason we were put on the smaller boat for the daytrip. Again understandable but it is not advertised like that and this is very frustrating! The main boat itself is very nice. And we enjoyed our excellent room with stunning views. The upper deck could get some more dressing up.

The service was very good, and they took extremely good care of us. We are so grateful for staff and all of the extreme care they took. We also had a small hiccup and forgot our bag but the helpful staff and especially William helped us managed to get our bag back for us. He even brought us a Vietnamese coffee! We are so extremely grateful for all of the staff here and would highly recommend this trip.

Nothing! It was amazing!

What I loved about this cruise was the stunning location, surrounded by the most beautiful limestone rocks and breathtaking views of Ha Long Bay. Being able to get on and off the boat to explore different sights and experience this incredible area was amazing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always eager to help, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

What I did not like was seeing a staff member throw plastic bags from the kitchen into the sea. This behaviour was very disappointing and unacceptable. I reported it to the company, and the staff member was dismissed, but it still left a negative impression

It was one of my best trips, many thanks to the whole team, especially my manager Jade manager on the ship li. And the whole, whole, whole team.
