Fabulous location! Its position on the river makes it a very special place to stay. Kitchen is well equipped.

The stairs but that’s to be expected in an older period home.

"Perfect base for exploring all that York has to offer"

The location is excellent for accessing York city centre - The Minster is about a 10 minute walk. It was lovely being able to sit out on the patio by the river. Lots of hot water.

The twin beds in the upstairs bedroom are not 3 foot beds and so not suitable for larger adults. It is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest grocery shop but tea, coffee and milk were provided.
