Riverside House - with parking

Superb location and well set up property! Clean and modern bathrooms and kitchen.

There was no fish slice in kitchen and it could have used a larger frying pan. Other observation was that upstairs living room seemed unused and would be better suited as a bedroom with a stunning river view. This would allow for a proper sized bed (my husband is 6’4’’ and literally didn’t fit in the short double bed we slept in).

Had a lovely stay once again

We were able to drop our bags off early. The arrival gifts from marks and spencers. Good size kitchen and living rooms. Good location. 5 minute walk from train station.

The living room rug was heavily stained. The stairs up to the attic rooms had carpet rod grippers exposed with two nails/spikes sticking out cutting my heal as I walked down them. The carpets could definitely do with renewing as they are in poor conditokn with black stains.

Excellent location for exploring York and close to railway station for trips further afield if you don’t want to use a car. Accomodation was comfortable, clean and as described.

Great location, and the house is decorated to a high spec with plenty of room and well equipped. The bedrooms are all a good size. Great for our weekend away.

Fantastic location!

Great location - a short walk to the city centre along the river, and lovely to sit on the terrace and watch the boats go by. Very charming house, full of character and with everything needed for a city break.

I would probably have moved the kitchen table into the downstairs lounge area overlooking the river as it is such a lovely outlook from this spot!

Perfect for a family group holiday as lots of space, bathrooms, 2 food prep areas, room to eat together inside and out. The location was perfect on the riverside walkway just along from the river cruise station, near the museum park and a pedestrian only walk to the train station,
