Self Catering ..... Location -fine

Everything about the accomodation was fine........... The one problem was had was gaining access to the accomodation. We had difficulty contacting the property owner using the contact number that you had given us, so we wrote to YOU on 6th September to enquire how we might gain access. You did not reply until 12th September (the day of our due arrival) to supply us with the key box access code - but your reply arrived AFTER we had left home to travel to Belfast. So this was NOT HELPFUL. We arrived at 3pm (the time from which YOU said that the property was available to us. Again, we tried contacting the owner on the phone number that YOU had given us, but found that the line was constantly engaged/unavailable. We had no other means of contacting the owner. After numerous efforts and 1 1/2 HOURS of trying. We spoke to the next-door neighbour of the property, who fortunately was home & had in his possession a landline phone number for the the owner. He was able to speak to the owner to explain our predicament and to pass on to him our mobile telephone number. The owner was then able to phone us back to pass onto us the key-box code, whereby we were able to gain access to the property. HAD THE NEIGHBOUR NOT BEEN HOME or HAD HE NOT HAD THE PROPERTY OWNER'S LANDLINE No, WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY. Of course, had you replied to my request for knowing how we might gain access to the property EARLIER (ie BEFORE we had left home) all of this inconvenience would have been avoided.

Beautiful house, with smart TV and Amazon Prime. Very comfortable.

Great location and communication with the host

Needs a little TLC for decor and leaking shower
