We booked the accommodation for two nights over Christmas. Adrian was home from work when we arrived on Christmas Eve so he was able to meet us to show us around and tell us all about the property (with an interesting local history lesson thrown in too!) The property was much bigger than expected and was perfect for us - a couple and our dog. It's close to town walking or driving and spacious enough to never feel cramped. Adrian was also a very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable and homely, with a fantastic view, in the ideal location for us (10 mins drive from wedding venue).

We visited family and the location was great. It was peaceful but also close to everything you need. Adrian was helpful and was quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely visit again.

Our host was lovely and there to meet us on arrival - he made us feel very welcome, as well as our cocker spaniel! He had made sure there was some milk in the fridge, with some tea and coffee. The cooking facilities were good and so was the location. There is nice walk you can do in the local area if you like that type of thing. In the evening, we got an Uber into Shrewsbury centre for £6 but there is a bus stop just around the corner, if you wanted to do that instead. If we need to visit our friends in Shrewsbury again, we will absolutely be staying here.

Owner was friendly and providing milk for the coffee as a welcome. The flat was spacious, the beds as well as the equipment clean and comfortable.

The area was not at all countryside. Our dog had a really hard time finding a wee bit of green to do his business.

The only minor issue was that there was no plug to fit the sink in the bathroom but that didn't particularly inconvenience me.

Spacious, bright, quiet. Outdoor space with an amazing view, everything from cutlery and crockery to a hairdryer and fresh milk, every thought put into making our stay perfect.

Excellent view from the living room patio windows. All of the appliances were there and worked. Private parking a bonus.

Bed is uncomfortable for us, pillows and duvet were lumpy. Bathroom radiator didn't work.
