Dee Lodge

Our stay was lovely, the lodge was spotless and had everything we could need for the weekend. The location was great, as it was only a short walk into the village.

Very pleasant, hot tub was ready on arrival, complimentary bottle of wine, bed was comfortable. Nice little cosy lodge, would return back again

Hand held shower head was broken, didn't have any cleaning tools for drying the floor after coming out hot tub, didn't have a sweeping brush to brush floor from the leaves and trees. Tried to check in a little earlier due to the drive but was no response, didn't have an oven to cook pizzas we brought for the night other than that it was a pleasant stay

The property was very clean, cosy and warm. The facilities were very good. Staff were helpful when we arrived and as the lodge was ready we were allowed to check in early. The hot tub was really good and very private.

The bed was very uncomfortable on the first night,but upon checking the following morning, we realised that the mattress had been put on upside down. It had a memory foam side. We turned it over and had a much better sleep the second night. The outside lighting was poor. The first night it didn’t seem to come on at all and on the second night it was very dim. It would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the hot tub properly, it was a bit of trial and error, but we got there. Wi-fi not brilliant, but that could be to do with its location.

The mess around the lodge every where was covered in leafs and the lodge was not very clean and there was blood above the door and all along the length of the french doors and the two exterior wall lights didn't work and it was pitch black and couldn't see where we were going and had to ask for lights and when we got back the lights weren't working because they had gone flat and it made it difficult to use the hot tub

Could do with some hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang your coats up. Could also do with a bath matt as the bathroom floor was covered with water after taking a shower. Maybe a long length mirror in the cabin somewhere.
