Sea Me

Een ongelooflijk serene omgeving. Het was wat moeilijk te vinden met manoeuvreren over smalle paadjes, waar ij je denkt, waar kom ik toch uit? En dan is daar plots het beach house van Matthias, met een terras aan de oceaan. Zo authentiek. En Matthias is een super gastheer. Het uitgebreide ontbijt met zelfgebakken brood en overdaad aan vers fruit was het beste van mijn wekenlange verblijf op de Filipijnen.

Eigenlijk niets. Hooguit dat het een beetje lastig te vinden is, zeker in het donker als je terugkomt van het restaurant. Maar eigenlijk is dat ook de charme.

The owners were very accommodating and you can tell they are kind people. Good place to unwind to forget the hectic city life. Sea, Seabreeze and green surroundings. Delicious food right from the their kitchen 😋 and local fruits are serve 😋.

We really loved our stay from the beginning to the end. If you use google maps: trust the location it sends you to. Follow the trail past the surrounding houses for 50 meters ,go through the gate and you'll arrive at this cosy b&b have a magnificent ocean view and (if you like) a firefly treat in the garden at night.

Our overall experience was very positive. Grace, our host, welcomed us very warmly into her own home and made us feel like part of the family. The children absolutely loved making bead jewelry and playing in the garden with a beautiful sea view. Grace cooked delicious meals for us, and the early morning dolphin tour was fantastic and truly memorable. The stay had a very homely, heartfelt atmosphere. The rooms themselves are simple but perfectly fine.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the food felt a bit overpriced for what was offered.

We loved staying at Sea Me with Grace and Mathias. Staying in their home felt so welcoming and comfortable. This place is perfect for people that enjoy nature and resting in a comfortable home. Their house is full of life- from fireflies to geckos. The kingfishers land on the tree each morning. And you can swing on a hammock and watch the sun set over the ocean. Thank you also for the delicious home-cooked food! In addition, Grace made the stay so fun for our two daughters. It honestly felt like family.

Es gibt diese Orte, an denen man ankommt und augenblicklich weiß: Egal, wie viele Tage man hier gebucht hat - es sind zu wenig. Das "Sea Me" ist so ein Ort. Ruhig gelegen direkt am Meer mit Blick auf das gegenüberliegende Negros, wunderbare Wasserfälle in der Nähe, ein kleines idyllisches Dorf drumherum. Und im Hof steht ein Baum, in dem ich nachts ein paar Glühwürmchen beobachten konnte. Das "Sea Me" ist ein Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und trotzdem etwas zu erleben. Die großartigen Betreiber kümmern sich um alles: Essen, Scooter, Delfintour, Wanderung, Gespräche. Und wer es vierbeinig mag, holt sich zum Kuscheln einfach einen der beiden Hunde dazu.
