The sea view is magnificent. The hosts are very friendly. Very comfortable place to stay! 最好的海景房之一！主人非常友好。很舒服的房间！

Beautiful place, incredibly kind and welcoming host family. They shared so much about the culture and way of life, made tea for my sister when she wasn’t feeling well, offered great recommendations of places to visit and how to get there. Ginatilan seems a little far but it’s so worth it to come here. Everyone in the town is super friendly and there is very tasty and affordable food, especially at the public market. It’s easy to arrive and go around by bus, we also chose to rent scooters in Moalboal and this was an especially fun way to explore south Cebu and the waterfalls. There are two rooms available, both in the upstairs of the house, and they share a bathroom and large balcony overlooking the sea. If you have a larger group and book both rooms, it would feel like you have the upstairs to yourself, or it could be a nice way to meet a few fellow travelers without feeling like you are in a busy/touristy place. Our only piece of advice is to bring your own coffee if you don’t like instant. Ginatilan doesn’t have coffee shops that open early, just a few iced coffee drink places that open around 10am. Also you can swim in the sea right outside the house, but the beach is a little rocky so it would be good to bring water shoes. All in all we loved it here and hope to go back someday!

There is not a hot shower, just the traditional way of showering with a bucket of water. We did not mind at all since even in winter it’s so warm here, but just something some guests may want to be aware of.

This little haven by the beach stole my heart. Sun-kissed days were spent mere steps from turquoise waters, and cozy evenings unfolded by the fireplace, lulled by the whisper of the waves. Everything felt handcrafted for comfort - from the plush throws to the book-nook bathed in sunlight. The hosts were as warm as the sand, with thoughtful touches that made me feel truly cared for. Although our visit was untimely, the hosts were very kind to us. They make sure everything was ready for us.

EVERYTHING was amazing ! Actually this family is kind, generous, sweet and they make you feel like you’re a part of family. The room was comfortable, clean et good looking. It’s the perfect occasion to know more of Philippine’s culture and also to experience it. I recommand 200% and I would be glad to return if I have the chance. A big crush for this place and people!

A truly inspiring, relaxing and revitalising stay at Grace's and Matthias' household. The host family was super nice, they were very inclusive and kind-hearted. The stay was the highlight of our trip to the Philippines, the nearby waterfall was amazing. Ginatilan is an authentic place that is nice to visit. We had great conversations with the family, about the Filipino and local culture but not only! It is one of those places you won't forget

We are so grateful that we could share our trip with our hosts Matthias and Grace for an intense moment ! They were so welcoming and kind. We adored our time at SeaMe, peaceful and magnificent place in front of the sea. We would have loved to stay longer ! Your french friends

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this place! It was a very short stay but the hosts were very accommodating and make our stay comfortable. The room was clean, cozy with a lot of books🥰 i also loved that they have dogs and were very sweet- a delightful bonus to our stay! would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic and accommodating place to stay.

Hosts. Place is run by great, warm and welcoming family. We feel much more like visiting old friends, than rent a room randomly choose on booking.com. We spent fantastic time together. Owners are exceptional guides through Philippine culture and local area. Huge bonus: friendly daughter and dog with big heart. We highly recommend this place for everyone, who wants to meet someone special not just looking for bed for a night or two.
