We loved the home stay, stayed for 4 nights with Grace, Mathias and Sanna, they took us around to visit the waterfalls and hot springs, we cooked together traditional Philippines dishes, we enjoy the private beach and defiantly want to stay their again!

We were just looking for a casual overnight spot near Dao Falls and stumbled upon Matthias and Grace’s place on Google Maps. It turned out to be perfectly positioned between these stunning falls. When we arrived, Grace greeted us with a warm smile that instantly made us feel at home. The place is right by the ocean, and the nighttime breeze was so peaceful. We also loved spending time with their sweet dog, Hershey. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept like a baby. The next morning, we had a great chat with the owners about local attractions and rented a motorcycle from their neighbor. They even treated us to a hearty breakfast for free. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay. It was definitely the right call—the place has such a calming vibe that we didn’t want to leave. Overall, our stay exceeded all our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to coming back with our loved ones.

WE really had a wonderful time during our stay.The place is perfect for someone who wants to escape the City Life. .Both Grace & Matthias are very accomodating .I was so thankful that we have few things in common😊Both our Family speak German.It was like a Family reunion , WE cooked together, wash the dishes, exchange jokes , stayed late at night and Drink Beer. WE we're Lucky enough.Matthias guide us to Inambakan falls, Sanna bake us her delicious Cinnamon rolls and Grace makes her fresh Salads for us. The Place has much to offer...its just a few hours ride to Oslob ( whale- shark watching) & KAWASAN-Falls in Badian...or just enjoying the Sunset & listening to the sounds of the waves.It was really amazing....People in the neighborhood offers us Tuba ( coconut wine), fresh catched Fish & fresh coconut juice.. Thank You Matthias,Grace,Sanna & Hershey for making our vacation a very memorable one. We even had a Grill Dinner Party.Thank you so much...For embracing my Family and letting us experience those Heartwarming Hospitality & Teamwork for both Family . WE missed you Guys..

A real experience in a magnificent house. A first impression of being out of time when you arrive on the first day. Then a feeling of belonging to the everyday life of the family. We had a great time together. So if you want to relax for several days, I recommend Sea Me at 200%! ++ the magnificent waterfalls 10min from the house by scooter.

The hosts were the kindest and best hosts one could hope for. They had also been very intelligent about setting up the courtyard as a fun and sociable place with cushions around a big homely tree, a slackline, a tire, and the beach right in front. They were very welcoming and inclusive of their guests and everyone felt like family. The lack of aircon wasn't much of a problem as the design was very smart (rooms get morning sun not evening sun, so nights weren't hot) and ventilation was great. Grace, Sana and Matthias were all very passionate, kind and friendly.

Didn't sleep much either night due to loud music because first night neighbours were playing music through speakers with budots and second night there was a loud disco in the barangay until 5am. This was outside of the hosts control though and probably just unfortunate timing for us - may have exacerbated by santa semana or just common in south cebu.

Absolutely lovely house, just perfect.

Grace, Matias, Saana and Hershey are simply amazing hosts in an amazing house. The house is located on the water, the walk from the terrace to the sea takes 10 seconds. And it is west-facing, offering incredible sunsets every evening. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful, they will show you around (market, waterfall, walks) or let you chill if you prefer. They make you feel at home instantly, and there is always fresh food from the market cooking. If you’re lucky you might even try Saana’s delicious cinnamon rolls and sourdough bread. The house offers two rooms for rental upstairs that share a bathroom, we were the only guests during our stay, hence we had the whole floor to ourselves. The room was clean and the beds were good, and you fall asleep to the sound of the waves ! It’s the perfect place to relax and explore the many surrounding waterfalls and villages. Can only recommend.
