Eight Rest Hostel Myeongdong

The hostel is located in the heart of a tourist area full of shops and restaurants open until late hours. Rooms were OK, pretty basic, but at a good price. There is a washing machine, for which you have to pay extra. In general, I think it is a good option for a short stay in Seoul.

It was a little hard to find the entrance, because the hostel is in a side alley. There is no elevator. The rooms are small, and I could hear the neighbour talking on the phone while trying to fall asleep. Definitely take your earplugs.

Emplacement exceptionnel proche de presque tout, hyper central. Chambres petites mais confortable. A dispo du café de l' eau filtrée et des nouilles instantanées. En supplément machine à laver et sèche linge. La personne a l acceuil est peut être là personne la plus souriante de Corée. Rooftop en plus pour boire un coup. La note de 10 se justifie par le rapport prix / emplacement/ service.

Idéalement situé si on veut être au cœur de ce quartier animé. Tout le confort nécessaire, propre et personnel serviable à la réception.

Notre chambre était petite et il y avait très peu d’espace de rangement. Ce n’est pas gênant pour un court séjour mais pour nos 4 nuits, nous étions un peu à l’étroit.

Great location.

Very basic rooms, didn’t even have a lamp by the bed – only the ceiling lightning that you have to walk all the way to the door to shut off. Could also use somewhere to hang your hand towel. And the extra cleaning fee if you get makeup on the towels is pathetic.
