Right in the middle of Oban easy walking distance to everything…shops restaurants port pubs …alll

Location was great, but there are renovations going on in the building, so some noise. Flat was comfortable, a comfy mattress too. Provided with everything you require for a self-catering stay.

The entrance hallway was really dirty and off-putting. Please ask your cleaners to attend to this. The living area could do with a lamp to provide softer lighting and a small table to put your drinks on. The bathroom doors needs a bit of WD40. The hall heater did not work the whole time I was there.

The bedroom and living were well heated. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed very comfortable. The location is excellent.

The communal hallway to No 5 McCaig's Apartments was very grubby and did not give a good first impression. The stairs to the apartment could be cause for concern as they were steep and on a curve.

Apartment was clean and warm. Nice view . Nice walks . Interesting town and area

Cooking facilities were not great.

The photos on the advert dont accurately reflect the apartment i stayed in. Contacted the host regarding this, and was treated extremely poorly. Faults/damage that were flagged up in previous reviews are still there and not been resolved. Entrance and stairway need a good clean. Windows in apt. 5 were filthy. Cheaply finished. Kitchen facilities could be a lot better. Stayed in a lot of self catering apartments in Oban and the experience of staying here was easily the worst. Wont be back.
